There have been much anticipation and expectation for the forth coming Apple iPad coming to Singapore in July 2010.
Many software companies have stepped up in their development of the Apps.  At a 9.7 inches, the iPad’s screen is many times bigger than the iPhone.    Banks in Singapore are developing Apps for internet banking.  Even MHA mentioned about developing a new systrem which will incorporate the Apps to track air cargo agents and flights.  Resturant bookings and even health care are exploring the possibilities.   Do refer to The Straits Times Home Section on Thursday May 13 2010.

There have also been news of our Spring Singapore Chairman Mr Philip Yeo who drew flak for calling Apple consumers dummies, “gullible consumers” for wasting money on all sorts of “useless applications” to which later he clarified that her definition of dummies refer to laymen.  He was guest speaker at the St Joseph’s Institution leadership lecture and made the comments when asked what he thought of the Apple iPad Tablet.   Apparently, this made many Apple fans upset.
